 Quick Tips

To reset your MP and IMC to factory defaults, aim your remote at the MP and IMC and click Eject and then Next Frame Skip three times in a row in sequence.  The unit will reboot and return to factory defaults.

 The Home Button:
  • The "Home" button on your remote is used to return to your home screen (not the DVD home screen).
  • If your MP or IMC become unresponsive or "hangs" during playback, you can press the "Home" button to get back to MP home screen.
  • You an also quickly get to the MP Settings page by pressing the "Home" button five times.  This will work from any screen.

The default password for parental settings is: 1111

To boot in diagnostic mode and use a USB keyboard and USB mouse to control, press the Audio then the DVD Menu button back and forth 3 times and quick succession.
How can I add home movies that are stored on my computer to my server or NAS so that they will play back on the IMC or MP?

Movies stored on the computer can be added to the ReQuest Server via the upload folder (link to Samba instructions) or directly to the NAS share’s DVDs folder (link to NAS Guide).   The movies must be in the correct DVD ISO format.  We recommend WonderDVD’s WonderShare Video to DVD burner software: http://www.wonderdvd.com/wondershare-video-to-dvd-burner/how-to.html.  The WonderShare software allows conversion of several formats including: MP4, AVI, Mpeg, QuickTime and iTunes movies.
