ReQuest in the palm of your hands

Freedom is a 4" wireless touchscreen controller that provides complete control of an iQ system or ReQuest Music Server from anywhere in the house. Utilizing 802.11g wireless technology, Freedom delivers a complete ReQuest experience with metadata and network widgets including local weather forecast, and stocks. Stored on an SD card, Request Freedom software converts a Nokia N800 into a full ReQuest controller in the palm of your hand.

Freedom - Serious Play

Connecting to an S. Series, F. Series, or N. Series music server, Freedom delivers the award winning Serious Play Media Manager. Serious Play Media Manager makes it easy to select a favorite artist, album, song, or playlist. AlbumArt for your entire collection greets you and with your finger highlight a desired artist, title, genre, or song and drag it to Now Playing. If an exact song title escapes you, the powerful search engine will track it down using the virtual keyboard. Playlist creation is just as simple - guide a song to the desired playlist, drop it into position and it is immediately added to the saved playlist.

Freedom - iq

When used in conjunction with iQ, music is presented visually including AlbumArt for your stored music, station icons for XM, and web logos for streaming radio. With a couple of taps on the touchscreen, your favorite music is now playing out on the deck. Unlike other systems, Freedom employs the same user interface as the iQ.TS35 in wall touchscreen eliminating the need to learn a new interface for your wireless system controller.

Freedom requires zero programming. After installing the SD card, the iQ or ReQuest music server discovers the Freedom controller in the network and populates the appropriate user interfaces, metadata, and network widgets automatically.

The underlying functionality of the N800 is retained when used as a Freedom controller. Browse the web, answer your email, and when it is time to change the music, simply launch the Freedom application. The Freedom automatically reconnects to the iQ or music server and full music control is available again. This discovery functionality extends to when the Freedom controller is removed from the home network. Come home from the coffee shop, open the Freedom application and once again, the Nokia N800 is a ReQuest controller.
