Question :
I downloaded the lastest Adobe flash program and none of my GUIs run through my browser.

Answer :
The newer Adobe Flash versions (9.0.124 and higher) add additional security which can prevent the ReQuest Flash GUI from loading via the Webserver. This includes all Flash interfaces such as Serious Play Media Manager, iQ, remote GUI and the VRQ interface.

Details:
Interfaces that work directly with the ReQuest unit such as Touch screens, TV output and Freedoms will not be affected, however accessing these GUIs via the ReQuest Webserver will cause them not to load.

Solution for Serious Play:
Update the Serious Play unit to the lastest version 4.6.2 or higher

Solution for 2.x.x:
Update the unit to the lastest version 2.3.2

Solution for VRQ:
The current solution is to install the previous version of the Adobe Flash Player. This downgrade can be installed by selecting the appropriate link below:

Windows XP & Vista:
http://www.request.com/downloads/patch/flashplayer9r115_win.exe

Macintosh:
http://www.request.com/downloads/patch/flashplayer9r115_ub_mac.dmg.zip

If downgrading the Flash version doesn't seem to work, check to make sure the downgrade succeeded. To check the Flash version, attempt to load the Interactive remote and right click on the GUI:

Check for the installed version:

If the downgrade was succesful, the version will read 9.0.115.0. If it is something greater, then the downgrade was not succesful with that browser. It is recommended that you try a different web browser (such as Firefox if you're currently using IE), rebooting the PC, or manually uninstalling Adobe Flash from the control panel.
