There are two options for sharing media between iTunes and ReQuest servers – Copy Files or Link Media Files. Coping files requires more hard drive space on your local computer but will result in better performance as well as the ability to play media directly from the computer when traveling. This is the default with Automatic NetSync.

Linked files can only be accessed and synchronized to iPods when connected to the same local network as the ReQuest server, but take no space on your local hard drive.

After clicking on a button to copy or link files and/or playlists, the Select Items window will display all media options. Type key words in the filter box to quickly find specific songs, artists, or albums.

Click to select an item (shift-click to select multiple items), and then press OK to start the copying process.
