By selecting Automatic Updating, NetSync for iTunes will run in the background and automatically sync media and playlists between iTunes and your ReQuest server. Select specific playlists or all songs and playlists. Make sure iTunes is running and you are connected to the ReQuest server for a complete list of playlists.

When running, Automatic Updating will
copy the streaming files (MP3s) to your computer. Please see NetSync Settings to change the default
folder. If your computer does not have enough space to store the
MP3 files, then select "Use Links when possible." Linked files can only
be accessed and synchronized to iPods when connected to the same local network
as the ReQuest server, but take no space on your local hard drive.
Depending on the size of your collection, it can take
several hours to complete the first sync. On average, copying
1,000 songs can take about one hour.
Click Run Now to start the NetSync process. If you select Run on Windows
Startup, the NetSync for iTunes will automatically sync when you run
iTunes. Run on Windows Startup checkbox . NetSync for iTunes
will run in the background at Windows startup. This option is on by
default and recommended.
