Job duties will involve a combination of Tier II technical support as well as hands-on repair of our electronics products.
Strong time management and customer service skills are essential factors for success.
Background in Linux Administration is a must.
Duties include:
- Provide Tier II support for customers (phone and email). Typical calls include support on proprietary software, networking, and control system integrations
- Track and report software issues to Product Development team
- Develop knowledgebase articles for current product line
- Diagnose and repair consumer electronics products including chassis, motherboards, power supplies, LCD touch panels, etc., and perform data recovery and hard drive repairs
- Document all troubleshooting and repair costs and processes using an online CRM program
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in a help desk or tech support setting; networking experience a plus
- 3+ years performing component-level electronics repairs
- Certification and/or Technical Degree in a related field
- Strong computer skills:
- Highly proficient in a Linux and Windows environment
- Working knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting)
- Experience with remote access technologies (VPN, dial-up, terminal services)
- Hands-on experience with Apple devices
- Control system integration experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using CRM or ticket tracking software

ReQuest Inc., a leader in high-end media management for both the Residential and Commercial markets, is in search of an energetic, organized, and highly motivated Inside Sales Rep to join our team. The role of this key individual will be to expand the commercial dealer channel for ReQuest's Harmony Digital Signage and Commercial Music product line.
Primary job function is to proactively build a nationwide network of Harmony resellers. The Harmony platform is a SAAS solution and is ideal for inside sales, demos, and training.
Job Requirements:
- Fire in the belly, a love of selling and delivering results, and the desire to earn large commissions
- 3-5 yrs of sales experience with proven results
- Associate's degree required, Bachelor's preferred
- Commercial Audio/Digital Signage knowledge a huge plus
- Ability to quickly master product line and be able to communicate product specs and applications over the phone
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
